Nantwich Jazz, Blues & Music Festival 2010

The legendary Nantwich Jazz & Blues Festival promises to be another superb event and Residence will be getting involved all weekend. We have lined up some great acts who will be playing 'live' in the bar area over the whole weekend and on Monday. The weekend kickstarts with our resident D.J Pete Jackson on Friday 4th April from 9pm then followed throughout the festival by:-

Saturday 3rd April - 3pm-6pm - D & G - AL DEAN & JOHN GUNSTONE

Piano, meander their way through a variety of styles that have influenced their musical careers to date. Featuring a heady mix of Blues & Soul with a smattering of jazz along the way. He and John have worked together on numerous Studio/Live projects and are now taking some of this material to a more intimate setting. John Gunstone, a gifted young keyboard player whose talents are in great demand from the likes of Otis Grand & Bernie Marsden to name just a few. Also worked with Al on the Nationwide tours with Chicago Bluesman James Wheeler.

Sunday 4th April - 1pm-4pm - Residence's Sunday regular - ANDY STONES

From Blues to Boogie, Roots to Rock 'n'Roll and Jazz to Swing!!! This pianist/vocalist plays everything from Jerry Lee Lewis to Jools Holland, Fats Waller to Fat Domino and Elton John to Elvis! Andy's 'tongue in cheek'approach to piano music has been seen at many festivals/venues worldwide inc. Edinburgh, Maastricht, Cork, Nashville, Paderborn and has worked alongside many well known musicians inc. Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, Van Morrison, Paul Jones, Chris Barber, Des O'Conner!!!!

Sunday 4th April - 6pm-8pm - TWIN FRETS

Unique guitar & vocal style of Vernon Fuller accompanied by Italian guitarist Willie Fluss an exciting blend of Soul, Jazz, Reggae and Funk.

Monday 5th April - 12pm-2.30pm - ANDY STONES
